Title: TN010001 SI_SCOPE Line Status Errors
Description: When running SI_SCOPE a "Line Status Error"
message appears.
Resolution:
This error is generated when SI_SCOPE's drivers receive a line status error
from the UART. These errors are caused when SI_SCOPE's RS232 parameters do not
match those of the line you are trying to view. Double check the settings for
your baud rate, parity, word length, and stop bits.
You can instruct SI_SCOPE to ignore these errors by using the /NOALERT command
line switch when running SI_SCOPE for MS-DOS or by disabling the "Line Status
Error Checking" option from within SCOPEPRO when running in windows.
